When you enroll in the Windows Server MCSE program, you will have different requirements that are need to receive your certification. You will need to fulfill the requirements by taking networking systems exams (4), the exam for the client operating system and a design exam. You will also need to take one elective exam and have at least a year of working with desktop systems and network systems as far as administering and implementing the systems. This is a requirement before enrolling in the course. You are also required to take at least two upgrade exams, which is necessary for entrance into the program.

The classroom training needed to qualify for the core exams are Maintaining and managing a Windows Server for five days and maintaining a Windows Server for three days. This is a requirement for the Window Server MCSE first exam. The next exam will require you to take two-day class for implementing a Windows Server Infrastructure (Network) and a class of three days for upgrading all support skills when going from NT 4.0 to the Windows Server. After the classes, you will complete the exam. Once you pass this exam, you will move on to the third exam.

The third exam requirement is maintaining and planning the infrastructure in Windows Server. You will then take the exam and when you pass the Windows Server MCSE exam, you move to the next class, which is five days and teaches active directory planning, maintaining and implementing of the infrastructure. You will then take the last core exam. The next step is onto the client operating system and design exams. After passing these exams, you will then be required to pass the elective exams.

Then you also need to pass the upgrade exam. You can choose from over twenty elective classes to take and about four different upgrade classes to take. The upgrade classes and exam may be avoided if you have previously taken the necessary classes before taking the Window Server MCSE training. When you complete all the requirements and pass all the exams, you will then receive your certification.
