The MCSE security courses require you to take and pass five core exams and three specialization security exams. The core exams consist of Maintain and managing the MS Windows 2003 environment. The classroom or online training for this exam consists of five days of managing a Windows 2003 environment and maintaining a Windows 2003 environment for three days. The E- learning training consists of twenty-one hour of managing and seventeen hours of maintaining the Windows 2003 environment

The core exam for maintaining, managing and implementing the network structure requires two days for implementing and five days of managing, implementing and maintaining the infrastructure network. There are no online learning MCSE security courses available for this course exam but there is for E-learning. It consists of ten hours and twenty-four hours respectfully.

The next core exam for MCSE security courses consists of five days for classroom and twenty-two hours for E-learning for maintaining, implementing and planning the active directory. The core exam for administering, configuring and installing the XP Professional requires classes of two days for classroom and eight hours for E-learning. The last core exam is for Configuring, Installing and administering Widows 2000 Professional. The classes are three days for operating systems and five days for implementing the server for Windows 2000 Professional. There are no E-learning courses or online courses for this exam.

The three exams for security require classroom or E-learning to include designing for three days in class or eighteen hours E-learning. Two exams need to come from one of the three classroom courses, which are administering and implementing security, CompTIA security, which is four days, Internet and acceleration security implementing, or Internet and acceleration security management and deploying, which is three days. These courses and exams are intended to teach you everything you need to know to pass the exams and receive your certification.
